warmstruggle brings together three artists who seek to locate an authentic personal consciousness amid the pressures of modern day living. Works in painting, sculpture, monoprint and film explore the importance of maintaining an independent identity within an all-consuming culture.
Using metaphors from the natural world, Chinese culture and the game of pinball, the artists wrestle with art’s potential for individual expression and each embrace this struggle.
